Good move Heavy. It's setting up for more downside after this bounce. Nice trade for you. :-)
Thanks pennies. Yeah I just took the trade to resistance then bailed Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

I'd rather not. My preference is for the resistance at. 89 to hold. Unfortunately, it's too late for that.

My CADJPY short from a couple days ago at .89 hit. Now that it's 15 pips under water, I need to get home to my charts and see if that's a problem.

I certainly understand your position Quan. Oanda has allowed us to hedge our positions by opening two accounts. Going long in one account and shorting the other account on the same pair. So if one is gonna ride a 300 pip loss in one account then I'd like to think one should be gaining roughly 300 pips in the other account. Once the pair reverses, then move the gains from the winning account and and double up your position on the losing account. That's the only logic I see in holding a losing trade that long. I've tried it but I tend to close out my winners to early. It does work tho.

I was hopeful pennies.......but considering the way these pairs can go on for literally years without returning to, much less actually pass through, a fresh long term point of breakout on the daily, weekly or monthly chart for years, I find any perfect EA improbable to create. For example, N/U weekly has yet to return to the 2008 low or even the 4 weeks price range following the low. Actually I can see so many reasons why it's got to be highly improbable in the long run. But, if you do come up with one, it would be truly awesome.
I don't hold positions for days let alone weeks or months anyways so an EA that produces consistent short term gains is fine with me. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Same basic setup as last time Heavy. Shallow rising wedge pattern, TDI shows 3 full peaks with no higher highs...
Time will tell...
Hope you're right

Back to the drawing board on the EA I'm afraid gang. After running several tests, I realized that the Modeling Quality on my MT4 platform was below 50%, meaning that it didn't have enough accurate historical data for accurate testing. Once I downloaded the full history, I got a 90% Modeling Quality return...and a net loss on the EA...LOL!
Looks like I will need to go back and add some filters after all.
I was waiting for that pennies.....
